Community Resource Directory

At Lowell Serenity Club, we know we can’t meet every need our members may face. That’s why we’ve listed some community organizations to help individuals begin connecting with the right resources—whether in times of crisis, throughout recovery, or on the path to building a thriving life, transformations take root.

Al-Anon and Alateen

Al-Anon is a support fellowship for adult family members and friends of alcoholics, while Alateen is a program within Al-Anon specifically for young people, typically teenagers, affected by someone’s drinking. The primary difference is the age group served; Al-Anon serves adults and Alateen serves young people. Both programs offer a supportive environment to share experiences and learn from others facing similar challenges, utilizing the 12-Step model and the principle of anonymity.
